How it Works

Holoponics™ is powered by a custom-built software platform designed to simplify and automate the complexity of aquaponic food production. Developed by an experienced software engineer, the system integrates real-time sensor data with intelligent automation to continuously monitor and adjust key environmental conditions.

Using inputs such as water temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and nutrient levels, the platform dynamically manages system operations—including water flow, aeration, lighting, and climate control. This creates a stable, optimized environment for both fish and plant health without requiring constant manual oversight.

The result is a turnkey, user-friendly system that lowers the technical barrier to aquaponics while improving consistency, efficiency, and scalability.

Key Holoponics Monitoring and Control Areas

Water

Monitors readings of nitrites, nitrates, dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature, water hardness (GH and KH), and algae contamination with sensors and software.

FISH

Analyzes imagery and ML to evaluate fish behavior; measure growth and number of fish over time, and create a record of fish vitality and production.

PLANT

Evaluates growth from imagery and physical measurements to create a record of plant vitality and production rate.

ALGAE

Use microscopic image capture and machine learning to identify algae species, proliferation and growth to maintain a healthy system for fish and plants.

BACTERIAL

Uses microscopic image capture and machine learning to identify bacterial species, proliferation and growth to ensure they convert the nitrites to nitrates and keep the system in balance.
